There was a special cultural event on post this weekend. I thought it was from 11-4, so we took our time with our morning errands and went out to lunch. After lunch, we headed to the px parking lot.
The paper must have said 1100 – 1400… We missed the drums and mask dance. But we had enough time to try on a traditional hanbok before they packed everything up.
I am pretty sure Clarissa felt like a princess. She loved her hanbok! I had to wear a hoop skirt thing under mine. It wasn’t completely obnoxious. But I probably wouldn’t want to wear one all day. But I am glad to have the cultural experience of trying one on. You will often see people wear them to weddings or when visiting a palace.
Clarissa commented that she really liked wearing the headband. So we promptly went to the px and bought 6! Has she been willing to wear one since? Nope.
